Here is a step by step guide to joining the fabulous I Can Read Programme

1. Obligation-free diagnostic assessment:
Contact a centre near you by phone or email for a Free Assessment of your child's English ability. An I Can Read Reading Specialist will use validated assessment tools to determine the most suitable programme for your child.

2. Arrange a suitable timetable:
Speaking and reading lessons are held at prime times: mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, so you are sure to find a time to suit your schedule. The I Can Read Centre Manager will assist you in choosing the time most convenient for your child's class.

3. Start the first lesson:
Your child's lessons will be in a small group of no more than eight children. The teacher will directly address students’ needs as determined by their diagnostic assessments. As everyone has different requirements, teachers tailor the lesson to the individual within the parameters of the programme. Learning to read and learning to speak English incorporates all aspects of literacy including writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension.
